Welcome to my electronic portfolio. As an undergraduate student at St. John Fisher College in upstate New York, I am pursuing a dual major in childhood education and special education with a minor in educational technology.
As I continue through my degree program, my e-portfolio will serve as an effective tool for self reflection and self assessment; as an artifact of my accomplishments and as a means for others to know and understand me better.
As a lifelong learner, I desire to instill my love and enthusiasm for education and technology into the lives of my students and associates along the way. I know that educational technology will play an integral role in my future teaching endeavors. New technology and how it can be applied to things I do everyday continues to thoroughly fascinate me. Being involved in many activities in and around my community, such as church and performing in a band with my husband give me great joy and satisfaction. For recreation and relaxation I can be found biking and hiking around town and along the canal, at home baking and tinkering with my computers, or sitting quietly catching up on my reading.
